Tasting Notes
Like all of our gins, our Original gin is made from scratch, using a pure cane sugar base which is triple distilled, before we delicately vapour infuse our botanicals. The concept for our Autumn Edition came to life on a trip to Sweden when we were meeting a potential distributor for our gin. We got into the habit of treating ourselves to a cardamom bun on the cold autumn mornings over there. It was the first time we had experienced the spicy flavour in this way and realised that it actually went very well with sweeter flavours. To us nothing says Autumn quite like spiced apple flavours so we hand slice Pink Cripps Apples and then infuse locally grown blackberries for a sweet finish. Warming and sweet, this is a real autumnal treat and goes amazingly with tonic and a blackberry garnish or can even be enjoyed on its own over ice.
