CO2 - Critical Supply Chain Constraint

Force Majeure

You may already be aware due to reports in the media of an unexpected event at the upstream Ammonia production plant at Ince, meaning there is no supply of raw gas to our CO2 plant at Ince, which is currently offline, and no CO2 is presently available from this source. At the same time, the unexpected event affects our Billingham CO2 source and has resulted in no CO2 availability from this source. Unfortunately these events, which are outside our reasonable control, will likely lead to a disruption in our supply of beverage cylinders to you. Accordingly, at this time, we are subject to force majeure events. As the events causing the constraints are beyond our reasonable control, our normal obligations under our supply agreement with you are suspended until the force majeure events cease. We are working to remedy the position as swiftly as possible. We shall continue to provide updates throughout this period regarding plant status and stock availability as the situation evolves and subsequently improves.

Where any product can be sourced, your usual Account Manager will contact you to confirm this and make arrangements with you for delivery. We remain committed to supporting your business continuity, notwithstanding the supply challenges presently faced. Our team is on hand to answer any questions that you may have.
